9ct Yellow Gold and White Gold hand-made Lightning Ridge Opal and Diamond Ring

This alluring natural Lightening Ridge Opal takes on a long oval shape featuring a lovely light pastel green blue mix of colour. The light electric green colour flashes gracefully in long ribbons against the light blue base, revealing shades of yellow and orange at the end of the vibrant display.  This solid Australian Opal is truly a one of a kind gemstone. 

The Opal is encased in a hand-made white gold bezel secured with North, East, South, West orientated claws. The bezel edge has fine mill-grain detail to highlight the gem shape. The shoulders of this opal ring feature a delicate wrapped collar set with natural Diamonds in White Gold. The ring shank is fine to look at, however very durable and strong as it is hand forged. Adding to the rings unique appeal, a saw-pierced filigree design graces the underside of the opal setting, making this ring a beautiful singular piece of jewellery.
